Originally from North Carolina, Laura Soule (pronounced 'soul') came to Philadelphia to attend Moore College of Art, where she pursued her interest in using visual media as a vehicle for communication.

Her early jobs included graphic design and exhibition management for museums including the North Carolina Museum of Life and Science, the Pennsylvania Historical Society and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

After gaining additional experience in fundraising, database management, event promotion and planning, Laura earned an MBA at Drexel, concentrating on marketing. After graduation, she managed marketing logistics and event promotion for Rosemont College's non-credit department and the American Association for Cancer Research.

Laura is currently on the Programs Committee for the Mid-Atlantic Society of Association Executives and takes an avid interest in non-profit management issues, the use of social media for member relations and communications, the art of leadership and organizational dynamics.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys running, playing with the pets, reading, being crafty with a glue gun, taking photos and sharing them on Facebook, motorcycling with her better half, sightseeing (even in her own hometown) and inventing recipes out of whatever happens to be in the fridge.
